What we collect

There are no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email, or manuscript. A visit to the home page increments a single shared counter (“Opened n times”). That number is not tied to you.

The tools on this site — press-release drafts, bookmarked marketing sites, the local checklist, and the positioning worksheet — stay in your browser (local storage). They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Advertising and cookies

This site uses Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can control personalised advertising in Google’s ad settings and read how Google uses data in its privacy policy.

The shop

The shop links to Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com. Those links include an affiliate tag. As an Amazon Associate, Stewart Ferris earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon’s own privacy policy applies once you leave this site. We do not receive your Amazon account details.

Sharing a page

The share buttons open X, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or your email app with the address of the page you are on. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.

Children

This site is written for adult authors. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
